Welcome to the official Game of Thrones Studio Tour accessibility guide. With step-free access, adapted heights, accessible facilities, and specially trained staff, we ensure every guest can comfortably explore the world behind Game of Thrones.

Visitor & Transport Accessibility Details

On-Site Parking: Our main visitor car park at the Game of Thrones Studio Tour. Guests can park directly on site at The Studio Tour for free.

Belfast Bus: Accommodates one standard wheelchair space per journey. Please notify us in advance to reserve this space. Note: Large mobility scooters cannot fit on the Belfast coach.

Dublin Bus: Our standard Dublin coach is not currently wheelchair accessible.

Mobility & Building Access

Step-Free Access: The Studio Tour is fully step-free, set on a single level, and easily navigated by standard wheelchairs and mobility scooters.

Wheelchair Loans: We have a limited number of wheelchairs available for loan free of charge. We recommend booking these in advance through Visitor Services.

Neurodiversity, Sensory & Visual Supports

Sensory Room: Located off the main Lobby, our dedicated Sensory Room offers a quiet, soothing space with soft furnishings.

Sensory Considerations: Parts of the tour feature loud noises, low lighting, and flashing or bright lights. Peak times can be noisy; the first and last time slots of the day are often quieter.

Priority Access & Headphones: Noise-cancelling headphones are available upon request. If you need to bypass a queue for sensory reasons, please notify a staff member and we will arrange priority entry where possible.

Hidden Disabilities: We proudly support the Sunflower and JAM (Just a Minute) Lanyard schemes. Staff are trained to offer discreet assistance whenever they see a lanyard.

Visually Impaired Visitors: Please be aware that lighting levels are low in certain exhibition areas. Please note: Touch tours are not available, as original sets and props are fragile authentic artifacts.

Assistance Dogs

We welcome all registered guide dogs, hearing dogs, and medical alert dogs throughout the tour. Please bring formal identification or proof of registration (such as documentation or a working harness/jacket).

Deaf & Hard of Hearing Supports

The official Studio Tour App includes a speech-to-text option so you can read all audio content on your own device. Contact Visitor Services or ask at reception on arrival for help getting set up.

Facilities & Amenities

Accessible Toilets: Fully compliant, accessible toilets are located on site and throughout the tour route.

Changing Facilities: Accessible changing facilities are located in the main Lobby and outside the Mess Hall Restaurant.

Tour Duration: The tour is self-guided and typically takes 2 to 3 hours. Please allow extra time if you plan to dine at the Mess Hall Restaurant or shop at the Studio Shop.

Complimentary Carer Tickets

We offer one complimentary carer ticket for every paid ticket for a disabled guest (aged 16+).

Carer tickets must be booked in advance via our Visitor Services Team. On arrival, please present one of the following proofs of eligibility:

– DLA / PIP entitlement letter or notice
– Blue Badge or Freedom Pass
– Access Card, DID Card, or international equivalent
